Ia Kutateladze is from Tbilisi, Georgia. In 2016, moved to Berlin, where she lives and works since then. From 2019, has opened her own studio where she works on different materials, creating functional and non-functional, explorative objects.

‘A quest to directly connect personal and surrounding emotional and psychological processes with the material and form exploration. Be it symbolic or more literal. Trying to explore the link between emotions, thoughts and life processes and how they would be translated into the material and form experimentation and research. Interpreting different psychological states and ways of being, memories and other personal occurrences into physical objects and shapes. These are currently the main themes for my creative practice. ‘
