Created entirely during quarantine, in her Berlin studio. The stillness of the lockdown enabled her to experiment and push herself more, to challenge herself to create bigger, more intricate functional objects, lighting and furniture pieces from ceramics.
The collection is inspired by the microscopic images of molecules and cells. She started her exploration after stumbling upon stunning microscopic image of the virus COVID-19. Realizing, that every living organism in the nature, even if it is a harmful one, could be beautiful. Going through massive amount of photos through her research, the direction of the collection became clear.
It is an exploration of a very intimate, personal battle of an artist and a human being in a surreal moment. An act of creation as a salvation and a victory.
