The concept of different elements coming together to create a whole. Playing with the idea of gravity, balance, and endurance. The relationship between shapes and space between them, creating visual tension. Using black clay as a material to push the boundaries of it’s possibilities, creating a complex structure which will undergo the shift of being fragile to sturdy, while still maintaining the delicacy.
Five elements combined in unity, create a sculptural lighting structure.If taken apart, the objects have their individual function, which include, set of three floor or table lamps, a coffee table with glass, a stool or a side table.
Each component is completely hand built from raw black clay.
