An interplay of singular shapes in repetition and combination with each other, to create more complex, interconnected structures. Exploring the individual forms, the rhythm and composition they create when merged together with each other. The negative and positive spaces within and between them, as well as the contrast of smooth and textured surfaces and edges.
The Formation chair explores the idea of the variation of the position of the same form composition and how this movement alters the complete appearance, rhythm and character of the object, transforming itself into something else, yet structurally being the same. By simple act of the rotation, three different chairs emerged, named accordingly - Formation 01, 02, 03.
